Would you like to ride a scooter better? Then we would like to help you with it and that is why it is possible to follow scooter lessons at Skateland. With our guidance you won't get stuck, and you always get better and learn more difficult tricks. It is also possible to learn specific tricks during the lessons, which you can request. During the lessons we will (depending on the number of registrations) work with two groups and instructors. We offer the lessons in two different ways; scooter lesson for beginners and scooter lesson for the more advanced. Rain or not, the stunt scooter lessons in the 2600m² indoor skate park are always on!
Step lesson for beginners
The lessons for beginners can be followed by children with a minimum age from 7 years old. During the lesson, we start from the beginning and make the trucks increasingly challenging. In addition, you learn to get control over the step and the basic techniques to be able to use the step in the skate park. Ultimately, it is the intention of beginners to learn during the step lesson to learn to ride on all obstacles in Skateland.
Step lesson for the more advanced
The slightly advanced are supported in learning new tricks. Maybe you can already do an (almost) tailwhip, but there is more! We ensure that you are ready to participate in a stunt scooter competition. If you can already do a tailwhip, it is therefore recommended to take part of this lesson. Specify at the beginning of the lesson what you want to learn so that we can deal with it during the lesson.
Cost
The costs for the group lessons are € 21.00 per lesson. Moreover, a fresh drink and the entrance fee to the skate park are included in the lessons.
Times
The step lessons are given weekly on Sunday morning and last two hours, the doors open at 10:50 am. The lesson then lasts from 11:00 to 13:00. After this you are free to continue practicing and driving around in Skateland for the rest of the day.
Important!
During the lessons there is no free walk in, you have to register and pay in advance. This is necessary to be able to follow the lesson. The maximum number of participants per lesson is 20; and full is full! In the meantime, the lessons are given weekly on Sundays, but keep an eye on the website. Make sure that your scooter complies with our scooter policy.
Protection
During the lessons, wearing a helmet, elbow and knee protectors is mandatory! These can also be rented from Skateland for a low price, as well as stunt scooters. For example, the rental costs are; helmet € 1, knee protection € 1, stunt scooter € 5.
Lessons card
It is also possible to purchase a lesson card that offers you the opportunity to follow 5 or 3 step lessons. Five lessons for € 82.50 or three lessons for € 52. Buy therefore now a lesson card for the step lessons! Because by practicing more often under supervision you learn faster.
Instructors
In the meantime we work with the best instructors in the Netherlands. We were first in the Netherlands to start offering step lessons and therefore have the most experience with this.
