Description
Phase 1 – Initiation Manoeuvres on the ground and low flightTheoretical classes:
- Paragliding wing and accessories nomenclature.
- Basic knowledge of aerodynamics and aerology.
- Paragliding safety.
Practical classes:
- Front and reverse inflated technique.
- Take-off in “pending school”.
- Landing techniques.
At this stage the school provides the flight equipment.
Phase 2 – Adaptation Flights with higher elevations
Theoretical classes:
- Aerodynamics
- Local aerology
- Legislation and in-flight rules
Practical classes:
- Direct glide flights with higher elevations
- Learn to build a flight plan
- Acquire progressive flight range
- Initiation to the ascending dynamic flight.
At this stage, the school does not provide the flight equipment.
Phase 3 – Autonomous pilot Dynamic ascending flight
Theoretical classes:
- Weather
- First aid
- Emergency manoeuvres and flight incidents
Practical classes:
- Long-haul flights in dynamic ascending.
- Top landing technique.
- Emergency descent and precision landing techniques.
At this stage, the school does not provide the flight equipment.
Phase 4 – Paramotor pilot (paramotor course)
Practical classes:
- Adaptation to the paramotor or paratrike
- Safety with the engine.
- Security with the surrounding space at the flight site.
- Engine take-off and landing training.
- Engine checklist.
- Preparation of all equipment to fly.
At this stage, the school does not provide the flight equipment.
