This walking tour combines two things that define the city of Lisbon: traditional food and Fado music.
DescriptionFado is more than just a genre, it is a way of feeling and the sung expression of the Portuguese soul.
You will pass by historical neighborhoods such as Bairro Alto, Alfama and Mouraria, to learn more about the traditional aspects of life, so you can get a feel of the city like a true local, a ‘Lisboeta’!
Along the 2.5 hours you will try the local cuisine and get to see real live performances from ‘fadistas’ alongside the traditional sound of the Portuguese guitar. Unforgettable!
Note: This tour involves a considerable amount of walking, please be advised. Not recommended for people with back problems or some sort of physical limitation. Children must be above 6 years old (it is ‘required’ to be absolute silent during the musical performances).
Also, for this tour there’s a meeting point at the Fado Museum.
