Dansateliers is a contemporary dance studio where both experienced dancers and beginners can get acquainted with the work of professional choreographers. During the Movement classes, where absolutely no experience is required, students embark on a dance journey to discover the work of experienced dancers and to explore their own body movement.
Dansateliers is an independent dance studio dedicated to the development of contemporary dance. The Rotterdam organization plays an important role in supporting new generations of dancers, keeping the national and international dance field nourished and in movement.
Dansateliers organizes weekly movement classes for everyone. Every week a different choreographer lets you experience what dancing can be. Young, old, whether you already or never have stepped in a dance studio: everyone is welcome and experience is not necessary!
Every Monday evening you can get acquainted with the movement material and the working method of our choreographers. On the basis of a number of physical assignments, they take you on a search for your own forms of movement. This lesson is open to anyone interested in movement, body awareness, choreography and dance.

Every first Sunday of the month, Dansateliers organizes a Movement Class XL: a three-hour movement class in which a choreographer takes you along in his / her way of working. The Movement Class XL forms a deepening of the regular movement classes. Experience is absolutely not required!
